The Batchelor's
A year passed and by now it was July 7 and we were in PCB to watch the fireworks on the beach. To my surprise that was not all that was going to be happening that night... Charlie proposed!! He bent down on one knee as the fireworks finale was exploding behind us and spoke to me what I thought would be the sweetest words I have ever heard (Until our Vows of course). Soon after we had a very small wedding at Head Quarters Chapel on base were we said I DO. Our journey has defiantly been a difficult one. The military life is much harder then most understand, but also very rewarding. Every morning I wake up knowing that my husband puts his life on the line for his country ... with little notice of when he has to leave me, many nights that I will have to be alone, and the sheer fact that he may not be coming home,
I am blessed with every moment I have with this absolutely amazing man and cannot wait to
grow old together.
The very first night we met

Lets Get Married

Our Vows
The Groom: Lauren all my life I have always dreamed of meeting the person I was going to spend the rest of my life with and you have far exceeded what I have always dreamed of. You are everything to me, you mean the world to me, and you complete me. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you.. love you
Bride: Charlie from day one God had ahold of our relationship. He gave you my heart because he knew you were the one it was meant for. Now looking at what God truly gave me I am forever greatfull. He gave me a once in a lifetime love that I will always cherish. Charlie you have given me more then I could of ever asked for. You loved me for me, with all my flaws and baggage you took them in as if they were your own. You showed me what living life is all about, but most of all you showed me what love truly is. I promise to slow down and to enjoy every second I am blessed to have with you. To never go to bed angry. To grow with you and our relationship to God every day. I promise to always support you in your decisions, and to never let you fall short of persuing the dreams and desires of your heart. To always be your companion to go bowling, play yahtzee with, and to do my best to learn to love football because it is what you love. I promise to never leave your side even through the difficult times, because you are my family now. You are my bestfriend, the love of my life, and now my husband.
Aloha Y'all,
Lauren
